Whether you want voice lessons, voice coaching for a show, help with auditions or text work, or to work on your voice for presentations and general confidence, I will tailor the sessions to your individual needs.
For actors, either still in training or working as professionals, continuing voice and speech work can be of enormous benefit, and I can help you progress your process of warming up, developing range and resonance, or look at any speech issues that crop up. Audition preparation can involve detailed work on speeches, texts, whether contemporary or Shakespeare/classical, and sightreading. Vocal coaching will help you find greater confidence and a truer connection, which will then give you far greater choices and truths as an actor. I work with release techniques - developing voice through the body to find a way of being relaxed and released enough to do the job, and at the same time finding relaxation through a dynamic, muscular and strong energy.
In the environment of social and business spheres, vocal coaching can help enormously with general personal confidence as well as aiding performance in the workplace. Key areas we can work on include addressing groups of colleagues and a wider audience in presentation; communication skills in one-to-one situations; training others and how to get your message across; how to deal with nerves; and being heard in every sense of the word.
